Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book a tour?

You can book public tours at http://www.denverinsidertours.com/tours/. If you would like to talk to someone or you would like a private tour, call us at (720) 507-5444 or send an email to reservations@denverinsidertours.com

Where and when do I meet for the tour?

You can find the meeting points for each tour on the Where To Meet page.  We will also confirm these details when you book your tour.

A 6-hour walking tour? Seriously?

You bet! The Denver in a Day tour is the most comprehensive walking tour of Denver. It is a leisurely-paced walk with lots of stopping and a refreshing 30-minute lunch break in the middle. We have had people of all ages on this tour, including children as young as six years old. Make sure you bring water, wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes, and get ready to have a blast!

How many people will be in my tour group?

The short answer is – not very many!  We feel very strongly that small tour groups make our guests’ experience more enjoyable and memorable.  We limit every tour group to 12 people.  We can also arrange a private tour to ensure your group is as small or large as you’d like.

Do you offer tours all year round?

Yep!  Denver has 300 days of sunshine to allow us keep going year round!

I want to tour sites that are not listed in your tour descriptions. What should I do?

Let us arrange a private, custom tour for you!  “Research” is our middle name, so if we don’t already know all about this site (which is highly unlikely), you better believe we will find out.

How do I pay for my tour?

We accept credit cards, debit cards, and payments via PayPal.  When you contact us to reserve your tour, we will discuss the details of making your payment.

What if I need to cancel my tour?

No problem.  Just give us 24 hours notice and we will issue you a full or partial refund of your tour fee, or reschedule your tour for you.

What should I bring on a tour?

For walking tours, be sure to dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes and bring lots of water. Sunscreen is a good idea most months of the year.
